Project 3: Lifehacking an Organization

In teams, examine how an organization handles strategic, tactical, and operational levels of work. Provide recommendations for improving the organization at these levels through flexible systems.
Project 3 is a group project. In this project, your group of 3-4 people will do the following:
- Select a participant who has been contacted by one of your members in Project 1-2.
- Examine that participant's organization for disruptions or problems.
- Based on the investigation, write a recommendation report.
- Also, write and deliver a presentation in which you make the case for the recommendations.
During the Project 3 presentations, you will present to the class; the class will play the role of your audience and ask appropriate questions during the Q&A.
The written Project 3 should be approximately 10 double-spaced pages.
Managing Your Group Project
Since Project 3 is a group project, I expect your group to use a project management system callled Basecamp. You will add me as one of your members.

In addition, your group should use Google Docs to write and share drafts.
Project 3 has group and individual components:
Group
- Written recommendation report
- Group presentation, including PowerPoint (or other presentation software) slides
Individual
- Individual participation in presentation
- Assessment of group division of labor, emailed to me
- Participation in project management system
Writing Your Group Project
The group project is a recommendation report and will follow the same outline as Project 2.
