Late Paper Policies
Late assignments will lose 1/3 of a grade for each day that they are late. You must turn in all assignments electronically by the time class starts (10 am) on the day it is due. Any time after that, the assignment will be considered 1 day late. Saturday and Sunday count. Therefore, if your assignment is two days late and I give it a B, the grade will be reduced to a C+ after I deduct the late penalty.

Tardiness
If you are late 3 times, it will be counted as 1 absence. At the beginning of each class, I will send around a sign-in sheet. If you miss the sign-in sheet, you will be considered late. Be careful with these; they can quickly add up to absences.

Grades
You must complete all assignments in order to pass the course. Even though Paper 1.1 and Research Summary 1 don’t contribute to your grade, they are very important parts of the course, and I will fail you if you do not complete them.

They are due by the time class begins (10 am) on the day they are due. If the blog entry is on the appropriate topic and is on time, you will receive 10 points. If it is late, you will receive 7 points.
