World Hunger Podcast

Every six seconds a child dies of hunger (CNN page 1); that is almost sixteen thousand children who die per day (Bread for the World, par 2). Why? It is not because a lack of food; in 2008 there was more food produced per person than there has ever been in history (CNN page 1). The millions of stuffed body bags are simply a result of the hungry being unable to attain a substantial source of nutrition.
